Siemens Desigo® Optic Successfully Achieves Kylin OS Certification and Domestic CPU Compatibility
News, Application News 2025-07-16 40
Recently, Siemens’ Desigo® Optic building digitalization platform successfully passed the adaptation certification for the Kylin Operating System (OS) and completed crucial adaptations for domestic CPUs (including x86 architecture [e.g., Hygon] and ARM architecture [e.g., Phytium]). This successful certification marks a significant expansion of Siemens’ digital building ecosystem. The updated version of Desigo® Optic is now simultaneously available on the Siemens Xcelerator open digital business platform.

What is Kylin Certification?
Kylin Certification is an official certification based on the domestically developed Galaxy Kylin Operating System. It is an authoritative certification system in China’s OS field, jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Kylin Software, renowned in the industry for its stringent standards and wide recognition. Siemens Desigo® Optic’s smooth passage of this certification fully demonstrates its excellence in hardware/software compatibility, functional completeness, and operational stability. It also adds an important qualification for enterprises during the bidding process.
Achieving Kylin Certification signifies that Desigo® Optic has achieved excellent adaptation and compatibility with the Kylin OS. This ensures the platform can fully leverage its capabilities in practical applications, providing users with reliable building management solutions.
